Welcome to Copy Cat Copy Editing and Proofreading Services, LLC. Whether you need a final set of eyes on your article, essay, press release, or manuscript or a major copy edit, Copy Cat is here to help.
Let me tell you a little about my background so you feel confident in your choice to hire me. I have a Master of Science in journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English—both from Ohio University.
I served as a public affairs specialist to two U.S. Cabinet members at the U.S. Department of Transportation. I was responsible for editing and writing their speeches and press releases. I was a managing editor of Healthplan Magazine–the magazine for the American Association of Health Plans. I have held various public relations positions throughout my career. All involved editing and writing press releases, newsletters, articles and brochures.
One of my passions in life is fitness. I was a fitness columnist for The Old Town Crier in Alexandria, Va. I also managed my own fitness company for many years—writing and editing all of my press releases, brochures, websites, articles, etc.
Now I want to focus full-time on an editing career.

Why Copy Cat?
When I’m not copy editing or proofreading, I spend much of my time rescuing, fostering, and finding homes for cats. A friend suggested Copy Cat as the name of my company, and I thought, “Perfect!” The name was available in Ohio, so here I am.
